Donation spot for job interview clothing donation? I have been |
|
searching for one of the places that offer women and men suitable clothing for job interviews. I saw a special segment on the news that highlighted these stores where the disadvantaged may go to choose (free, I think) suits or dresses that would help them with their interview appearance. I have many suits from my former job that I will no longer wear and would like to donate them to one of the spots that will give them to women who need to dress properly for that first interview. All are clean and in good order. Anyone else see this coverage? I would be willing to ship but don't know where to send them. Thanks.

1. The Veteran's shelter on Court Street in Boston may be a good place. |

They are always in need of clothes.

They are a shelter for women and I believe they accept business clothes for women trying to transition into the working world.

3. I do think the Salem Mission |

(formerly Crombie Street)also will accept them. It is my understanding they give training on job interviews, and I know they accept clothing, etc.
