Bob Gamere arrested on child pornography charges

Bob Gamere, a former sportscaster and host of the popular Boston television show, "Candlepins for Cash," was arrested Thursday on child pornography charges.

Federal prosecutors say Gamere, 69, of Brookline, used his home computer last year to send multiple people e-mails with child pornography videos attached.

Gamere pleaded not guilty in U.S. District Court to two counts of transporting child pornography videos and one count of possessing child pornography. He and his attorney declined comment after the hearing.

Prosecutors said the investigation began when an undercover agent received an e-mail with a child pornography video attached. The agent determined that the video had been sent by someone with the screen name "GreatGamere," which was later traced to Gamere.

I'm pretty sure he did, but I can't remember what it was. Drinking may have been involved, but I'm not sure.
