Maybe I'm just as bad as the next Massachusetts driver but I
don't think so!

This morning I had to take family members from the North Shore to South Station. I have not been to this area since a time before the "big dig". Not easy to find, especially since I tried the Ted Williams tunnel, then exit 25 then...who knows, you're on your own.

Dropped off my family and headed out. You'd think someone was giving out free money as I tried to get on to 93, then swing over to the left for the Tobin Bridge. Everyone was driving hell bent for leather and no-one would let me change lanes. At one point, I had to get left or I would have ended up in---wherever. Of course, I got a lovely gesture from someone behind me because I slowed down a lot in find swing room. I am not an aggressive driver. 8:15 AM is no time to be negotiating Boston unless you have nerves of steel.

2. Boston driving is just a darn MESS
And the Big Dig made it worse, and everyone in Mass thinks the speed limit is 70MPH.

I hate driving in Boston.

3. I used to do the Central Artery every day to get to work.
It's always rush hour on that road. Once I even drove it when I had a patch over one eye--that was a mistake!

I used to drive out to the Naval Prison in Boston each weekend for a whole summer back in 1972.
