I was outside getting some firewood and just happened to look up after brushing some snow off my dogs grave in the backyard. He died a few weeks ago.
Biggest brightest shooting star I have ever seen and I have stayed up to watch many a meteor shower. I could even see a vapor trail.
Did anyone else see it? About WSW under Venus.

doing the Christmas Eve thing with my kids and grandkids.
What part of the state are you in? I'm out in the Hilltowns.
I'm sorry about your dog. I was touched to imagine that maybe you were meant to see that meteor as you were brushing the snow off his grave. A "message", you know...
I lost three (old) dogs in the past year. So I know how hard it must have been for you this holiday season without your buddy there.
