Earth Day Rebates for appliances? What a joke, Mass. |

Sold out after 2 hours. In response to this mess, the state is thinking of a Tax Free day sometime as said on NECN. My daughter was going to buy a dishwasher and refrigerator and get the rebate. Hardly any comparison.
Dishwashers (.PDF or .XLS) $250 Refrigerators (.PDF or .XLS) $200 Clothes Washers (.PDF or .XLS) $175 Freezers (.PDF or .XLS) $50
Big difference between the $250.00 and $200 and a tax free 6% 'sometime'.
I think there was some poor planning here.
How about a coupon for the rebate to be used in the next 2 months or something like that. Lots of people lost out on this. The system crashed after the first 2 hours.

1. The system crash was poor planning, but not selling out after 2 hours. Funds were not unlimited and |

the "First come, first served" is the way it is.
