Is that the stuff is like dust. It's so cold I guess that the snow is dry and fluffy. I just shoveled about 5 inches and the hardest part was keeping it on my shovel even in light wind.

my wife and I were working out the math on the purchase of a snow blower. last year we thought it was not justifiable, this year we're not so sure.

if nothing else, start with a used one ... i think they're a must if you have a driveway to clear ...

the only drawback to older units, if they are properly tuned up, is that they sometimes lack the safety features newer models have ... but if you don't do stupid things, you should be fine ...

and then, when you're ready, you can usually sell your used unit and buy a new one ...

good new units run close to $1000 ... it's really nice to have electric start too ... used units i've seen run anywhere from $200 to $700 ...
