Just a quick automated reminder that The Boston Human Rights
Campaign Meetup Group has an event tomorrow. You didn't RSVP
but if you can make it, here are the details:
See who's coming and RSVP (it's not too late!):
http://rightsforall.meetup.com/3/events/4715143/What: Pat Jehlen Volunteer Opportunities & Campaign Kickoff
When: Thursday, June 16 at 7:00PM
Where: Orleans Bar & Restaurant
65 Holland St
Somerville MA 02144
(617) 591-2100
Event Description:
There is an open state Senate seat covering Somerville,
Medford, Woburn, and Winchester and we need VOLUNTEERS! Pro-
equality state Rep. Pat Jehlen is vying against a field of
challengers including two anti-marriage-equality opponents in
what may become a pivotal race before this year's
constitutional convention. Pat Jehlen has distinguished
herself during her 14-year tenure in the state house as
progressive leader supporting universal health care, affordable
housing, women's health, and consistently voting against the
proposed bans on marriage. This is our last chance to send a
clear message to our legislators that we will not rest until
our right to marry is secure!
This is also the perfect opportunity to become involved in a
local grassroots campaign. Door-to-door canvassing and phone-
banking begins 5:30 weekdays and 12noon weekends. Please
contact Georgia at georgia@patjehlen.org if interested: Davis
Square Campaign Office: 240 Elm Street, Suite B1 Somerville, MA

http://www.patjehlen.org/And come join Pat at her campaign Kickoff at Orleans in Davis
Square. We'll see you there!
And yes, WE KNOW these get-out-the-vote efforts make a huge
difference and can boost a candidate 10% points, easily the
margin of victory in a crowded race. But we can't do it
without your help and your support!
