Kennedy "no more Mr. Nice Guy".

What Kennedy is angry about is the perception, spread by at least one GOP consultant in Boston, that the senior senator from Massachusetts makes an ideal steppingstone for any novice Republican looking to pursue elective office.

The rationale is as follows: The affable Kennedy tends to run gentlemanly campaigns against his invariably inexperienced opponents; the Republican candidate runs and loses in a mutually respectful race; a couple of years later, the defeated Republican uses the positive publicity generated during the Kennedy campaign to win a different statewide office.

2. That's the point of the article.
Teddy has this seat sewn up. It's his until he choses to retire. However, R's like Romney  get their names out by running against him, and then people remember them a few years later.

Romney:mad:, on one of his MassBashing trips to deep red land, recently told about his "struggle" for senate against the Evil Ted Kennedy, and how he had done, "So well".

Yeah Mittens  32% is great.

:toast:

I think it's time for Kennedy to fight dirty and tarnish the name of his next Republican opponent.

7. President Bushs speech 6/28/05
In Deed, Good Afternoon, I am an old friend of yours from Buffalo NY years ago,the 70,s And I wrote a summation of Bush,s speech ,I would like to share it with you all, Thankyou. In Deed, President Bush stated the point and well. No time line. Mixed signals ,or they will think to wait us out ,and on the other hand we will not be trusted. (Abandonment) Also a thing called mass killing as a result of abandonment. So he summed it up there. Should we be there,No I think not. But we are there so we must do the right thing. To understand terrorism reguards to the Middle East as a whole,we must understand middle eastern countries. The United Arab Republic. I am only going one way on this one,Take a look at the map,the middle east, the united Arab countries. Psychological war fare and Terrorism across the middle east and the world. The middle east (Nomads) Born at point a. and residing at some point b. One thing in common, one religion, same belief. A belief that America is some kind of evil empire. A religion that teachs from the begining of understanding ,that it is not of this life that matters ,but the next only. Now how many countries are there in the middle east? And how much of that in space does Iraq take up? Compare Rhoad Island to america, north america, there you have that comparison. So you see it is a very very big world. Spreading freedom ,democracy,a very very very big world. Have you ever spotted mile markers on the old interstate highway? Would you compare one of thoses to a rather large imprint ,if you know what I mean? The thing of it is we are at war and we must support what ever is that plan. Though at the same time the President really did not have much to say. So than Let Me, make this perfectly clear, The president said at a point in his speech that we must put 911 behind us, we must get on with it, get past it, we are not a nation of people that are hiding under our beds over it.Later on in his speech he goes on to repeatedly remind us of it,right to his closing words. So let me reiterate further to sum up all George Bush said in his speech, 1,and ah two and a three and ah four, (Do a little tap dance, than shuffel over to the right, Got ya covered, nine ten no problum, sha do da do! Thats it.) Just say no to that. Those republicans really have a serious problum there. For instance in the state of Washington the republician big cheese says he or they will continue to look for felon voters, that by the by rather up set their rising stars bid to overturn the governors election, but at the same time he projected into the next election to side step that in their problum. Sha do da do Just say no to that! So what shall we do? Thankyou and good evening your friend Desk Jet of Washington state.

11. MA is no longer GOP friendly
especially after 2004. If Kennedy retires, you'll see someone like Markey take it. The GOP is in shambles in this state. Just look at how unsuccessful Romney was in trying to get some more Republicans in the State House. What a joke.
