WHDH (NBC) News is doing a story on NCLB and military recruiters
Edited on Sat Sep-17-05 08:25 AM by IanDB1
On Monday, Investigative Reporter Hank Phillippi Ryan is going to do a story called "Student Soldiers" about how the military recruiters are using and abusing The No Child Left Behind Act to target children.

I believe it's going to be broadcast on Monday.

1. Evidently all parents of school age kids better check their parent
handbook/student handbook or school policy booklet that everyone gets the day school starts

We only have a few weeks to get our kids names of the list and there is paperwork that has to be filled out and returned per a deadline

I was told that my school district's deadline is this week

IanDB1, thanks for the heads-up on this one . . . hopefully, WHDH-TV (Channel 7, NBC's local television broadcast station) will inform the public that our U.S. Military is authorized to target indigent kids and working class kids. It's a sham! It's hypocrisy that the military is targeting the private and public schools of indigent and working classes in order to fulfill their military quotas for Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines recruits.

Military recruitment via zip code agenda should be unconstitutional.

All this through George Walker Bush's "Leave No Child Behind Act" . . . damn hypocrisy!! Recruitment via zip code (economic and minority class) agenda is reminiscent of the Brits doing the same before and during the colonial era to their own citizens whether colonialists or Brit homeland.
