Deval Patrick will speak in Framingham this Tuesday
It's at 7:00pm at the Framingham Civic League, 214 Concord St. I heard him at the Open House - it's well worth attending. He seems like the real thing.

1. Go..and enjoy!
I've heard him too, and I AM CONVINCED! He is genuine and sincere. He is very, very convincing. The money thing will be a problem, but I think he can overcome that in the next few months as Democrats hear and see more of him.

2. The money thing will NOT be a problem

What is your souce of (mis)information? This is a myth started by Reily camp, the latest in a series of distortions.

I have been a volunteer since January and heard Deval say this last weekend:

First it was he is not legitimate. His speech at the platform convention blew that out of the water.

Next it was "he can't raise money". He's sitting on >$1 million and it is pouring in. (I know for a fact he will be attending a fundraiser sponsored by a very significant Senator who will be endorsing him, watch the media for details).

Lately it has been "he is spending it recklessly". Just another in a series of lies.

No, money will NOT be a concern. But I wonder if KKKarl Rove is moonlighting in Mass?

3. I'm starting to warm up to Patick.
After reading a little more about him. I am still bothered by the Coca Cola stint though, but think he's the best candidate so far. The climate is right for him to take the Democratic nomination, though I'm a bit worried if he can take a republican candidate in the governors race, especially in a state that is perceived by many moderate democrats as leaning too leftward.
