A one-hour exclusive with the two candidates for mayor of Boston, incumbent Mayor Thomas Menino and challenger and Boston City Councilor Maura Hennigan. The town meeting will be re-broadcast at 8:00 PM on WGBH 44 and will be available through Comcast On Demand.

I saw the debate and she looked impressive.

Does anybody have an opinion on her?

3. Hennigan vs Menino

i wrote this letter to Ms Hennigan after watching that debate, Menino is an embarrassment to my city :

Hi Maura -

Amongst the numerous clear reasons why you are a great candidate, it has made me beyond disgusted how Tom Menino was trying to keep his iron grip on the mayors office by keeping himself away from any sort of debate with you. Now that you got your chance, its obvious why. You showed why he is the George W Bush of Boston, all talk-no action, and completely 100% out of touch with the needs of this city. On top of needing to get someone out of office so power-hungry and in the frame of mind that this is their full time permanent job, you showed why you will be a great mayor. If it doesnt work out this time, be sure to run again, we would be very lucky to have your leadership, which was very apparent in your debate Wednesday. You have my full support, and most importantly my vote.
