PHOTOS: St. Patrick’s Day breakfast & Patriots who waited outside (xpost)
Edited on Sun Mar-19-06 06:10 PM by unhappycamper
A St. Paddy’s Day breakfast for the political elite is an annual event up heah in Beantown. All the important people gather to tell jokes and roast each other in the finest of Boston traditions. Senators, Congresscritters, local politicians and the 'important' people.

A small group of Patriots met them outside the gathering place. We had initially set up in the island between a split four-lane road going past the Convention Center. Because there were children present, the Boston Police asked us to move behind barricades set up on the sidewalk directly outside the Center.

Some of the pictures are blurred because I was shaking from a 20 MPH breeze coming off Boston Harbor. We were there for slightly over four hours this morning.

Got a few peace signs and honks from passersby, and a lot of lockjaw from the chickenhawks.

A view of the Center head on. At this time our group was in the median

And here we are after the move to the sidewalk in front on the Center

A sister’s plea

Phil Dunkelbarger, the man who is running for Steven Lynch’s seat in the House with a VFP brother. FWIW, Lynch never met a war appropriation he didn't like.

We left Curious George attached to a barricade in front of the Center

4. The only pol that talked to us was Mr. D.
All the other political critters used the side door or ducked out the back.
