Host a Joe Knollenberg Retirement Party
The http://www.RetireJoeKnollenberg.com web site is ready for action. Click on the HOST A PARTY graphic to set up your party and invitations online. If you need help, please e-mail me at bfealk@wideopenwest.com. You will need to do the inviting of friends and family. The site allows you to print postcards and business cards with your party information. If you have a good e-mail list, it will definitely help. Your party doesn't need to be big, 10-20 people is fine. They will be asked to donate to the cause, however. It doesn't need to be a large donation, $20-$100 is great, but bigger donations will be happily accepted. I'll be happy to appear at as many of the parties as I can, if you want me to.

The idea is to hold Knollenberg retirement parties acros the district and raise money to send Joe into retirement. The money raised at your party will go into the ActBlue account we've set up for this purpose. All donations at this time need to be made by credit or debit card. The money will be given to whoever the Democratic candidate is for the 2008 election cycle. We need to get an early start. Joe Knollenberg is already in full campaign mode, so we need to have our candidate armed and ready for the fight. The best way to arm our candidate is with money.
