Anyone catch the Channel 4 story on the illegal abortion doctor?

Was it me or was there a lack of context to their reporting? At no point did they suggest that perhaps restrictions on Medicaid funding of abortions, parental notification or waiting periods might have driven these women to such a horrbile place to receive an abortion.

1. I saw the ads, not the story

The sound bites seemed to indicate that the doctor was catering to young women.

The irony is that in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County, the courts are pretty good about giving consent. PP will help a teenager file the paperwork, as will any other licensed clinic. But a lot of teens don't know that, don't seek out good advice, or they let the idiot who impregnated them make the arrangements. They'd be better off talking to their parents in any of those 3 circumstances, barring an abusive home.
