Her husband, Leonard, passed away last Sunday, unexpectedly, at the age of 37.

Visitation is from 3-9 on Thursday, August 30.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 31.

1. That's my home town!

I grew up in St. Clair Shores, I didn't realize the "Grumpy" family was right there! As you know I'm 4-5 hours away in Traverse city these days but I know the area of the address you list like the back of my hand.

I did catch the cross post on this sad news in GD this morning and was very sad to learn of the loss of our fellow DUer AND Michigander. What a shock for that family! My heart goes out to them. I hope their pain starts to subside soon, it must be very deep right now.

and I thought about you when I shed a tear that our beloved Tigers weren't in the playoffs. I think about your family whenever I wear the Tigers' sweatshirt your mom was sweet enough to send me last year. It's one of my most treasured pieces of clothing now.
