1. Kwame will skip the event at the Joe
Kwame Kilpatrick said that he has decided (emphasize: Kwame's decision) to not attend the Obama rally at Joe Louis Arena. Because his legal situation might distract from Obama's message.

So, only one motorcade Monday evening!

:hi:

3. My sis went to the Joe event
She is still--and I suspect will be for a long while--almost incoherent with giddiness :) Obama is exciting people like I haven't seen in my lifetime; it's truly something special!

4. I was there, too. I volunteered at the event
Seeing Gore was a major highlight to me and the cherry on top of what still would have been a great event. I was very active in the Draft Gore movement for about a year and when I found out he was going to be there, I was beside myself.
