Art Fair and PeaceKeepers
Come to "Operation Iran Call-In" at the Peaceworks Art Fair Booth! On
July 16, 17 or 18 at 11:30am or 3:30pm, set aside 15 minutes to bring
your cell phones and join other Peaceworks members in making a loud
public spectacle of calling your lawmakers about staying out of Iran!

This is an excellent opportunity to raise consciousness among art fair
go'ers from around the country about the growing threat of war with Iran.

*from Jackson Peacekeepers email I received*

The Peaceworks booth will be located on the corner of 5th and Liberty
St. Your name will also be entered into a raffle to win one of our
fabulous new "Peace and the Environment" reusale shopping bags or a
"Stop the War" t-shirt.

In addition, please bring a donation of $2 or more to contribute
towards getting a message about the growing threat of war with Iran on
the main screen of the Michigan Theater for a night. With your
donation you can make a suggestion about what the message should say.

There are now 238 members of Congress who have co-sponsored House Con.
Resolution 362, and 32 members of the Senate who have co-sponsored its
companion bill, Senate Resolution 580. The passage of these bills
would support a U.S. partial land, sea, and air blockade of Iran. We
must take action by telling our Representatives and Senators to vote
NO on these bills.

If you are not able to make it to the Art Fair, please call your
Representative and Senators about this important issue by dialing
800-828-0498.
