Yard Signs available at West Bloomfield Obama HQ

Signs are $5 a piece. Bumper stickers and buttons also available for a nominal price (can't remember the number). Gary Peters signs are there as well.

Also, if you live in the West Bloomfield area, the Obama office holds a canvass every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at 10:00 a.m. Canvassers are always needed. They welcome phone bankers, too.

2. Still none at Peters/Obama Campaign HQ on N. Main in Clawson.

Last night was the third time I've stopped in there. This time I found the side street destroyed/underconstruction so I couldn't even turn off Main/Livernois into their parking lot. (God Bless the GOP Town Fathers, huh?) I don't think I've ever seen a LESS competent/experienced campaign headquarters in my life, in the four states (MI, NY, WA, CA) where I've spent any time whatsoever at such operations.

3. I got two "Obama-Biden" lawn signs! Finally!!! Yeah!

My (step-)nephew picked them up at the Orchard Lake Road campaign HQ! The Obama campaign is missing a BIG chance to have those yard signs blossom like dandelions in the spring. Even as ridiculously difficult as they are to get, I'm seeing them start to blossom in conservative neighborhoods here in North Royal Oak (around the "Vinsetta corridor") ... and I can only think it's an "In Your Face, Idiot!" move by heretofore sign-less independents. Yes ... they're on lawns that had no signs on them in 2004 or 2006.

The "Ron Paul" signs continue to proliferate. Fascinating.
