I potentially need a place to stay near Detroit.

I am a student at the University of Kansas, and I won tickets to the Men's Final Four being held in Detroit. If KU advances to the Final Four, then I will be going. Because I will be driving the 900 miles from Lawrence, Kansas to Detroit, I want to cut down on costs when possible. Therefore, I am putting out a request to stay with somebody in Detroit next weekend. The dates that I will be staying are Saturday (and possibly Sunday) nights. 1. Well, you're welcome here -- it's about an hour and a half to Ford Field

Except for the first eight and last four blocks, it's all expressway between my house in Saginaw and Ford Field, which are about 95 miles apart. You'll probably get a better offer as you go, but I'm willing to provide you a roof here if you need it.
