http://www.michiganautolaw.com/caraccidents/auto-law/index.php#a4In the last three years, that is. Thanks to the addition of Diane H. to the Mich. Supreme Court, the court came to it's senses on 7/31 and lowered the "Threshold" for victims in auto crashes. This comes five years too late for yours truly, who got screwed in the settlement following that tragic crash on I-69 eight years ago last March. It all started with the changes in the no-fault law in 1996 under the regime of Gov. Big Turd and his band of insurance industry goons. It got worse for victims after a court decision in 2004. Now victims have a better chance to receive compensation resembling what one would get in most other states.
I hope that in some small way my rants about the insurance lobby in this state had something to do with this. I hope NO ONE ever has to go through what I went through.
