Help please Cat Lovers!

My best friend from high school is moving to China on Sunday Sept. 4th, 2010 from Ypsilanti area - she just found out today that the woman who was supposed to take her cat in, backed out on the deal. She is desperate to find Princess a home/foster home, she is 11 years old, spayed and declawed, gray and white markings, she is a small pleasant cat. 1. I might be able to help. Can she tolerate other cats?

2. They learn to. You would be surprised. Just put her in her own room and allow

the others to smell her through the door. Then move her to a large or small kennel for a little while each day and let the cats see her. Then slowly introduce her. Keep a spray bottle of water handy as a defense and do not under any circumstances attempt to break them up with your hands as my brother did. He ended up in the hospital for antibiotics for severe scratches.

last week, the two got along fine. Princess is a small female DSH, sweet girl. Are you near Ypsilanti area?
