Virg's tv ad--He may as well be a Repuke.
He brags about cutting government jobs and how he will cut pay for the State Legislature and Governor. I think some political consultant got hold of him--too bad--because these aren't winning issues for him.

1. He didn't say he cut government jobs.
He said he cut government 20%.

FWIW

6. Seriously?

You could just make your point.

I don't like it when the Dems accept GOP talking points as fact. It allows them to frame the debate...in this case that "Big government is bad. We must shrink the size of government." The size of the government is the least of MI's problems.

7. No, I am inquiring as to what Bernero has cut that offends you.
That is all. I do not know what he has cut from the government. That is why I am asking you.

So, what has he cut?

8. I saw the ad again, and he did say cut gov't .20%--my mistake.
However, the theme of the ad is anti-gov't, which was not the message in the primaries. He needs to get back to the poor trade policies and starting up a State of Michigan owned bank. I thought that ad made him look like just another politician saying "what they wanted to hear".
