Buy cutting educational jobs you are cutting out tax paying citizens and LOWERING REVENUES . These republican SCUMBAGS attack public workers because they hate public education and government. They are so blinded by their ideology they fail to see their actions are causing greater damage do to our state economy.

I would gladly pay more taxes for better education, better roads, better services (police,fire), and a higher standard of living.

Michigan’s unemployment rate headed in the wrong direction in June, rising two-tenths of a percentage point to 10.5%.

“Halfway through 2011, Michigan’s labor market has shown no significant changes since the beginning of the year,” said Rick Waclawek, director of the state’s Bureau of Labor Market Information and Strategic Initiatives.
