Occupy Detroit's Permit to Camp Out Overnight Expires Monday

The City of Detroit wants the rest of the group to move out by November 14th when their 30 day permit expires.

"It's awkward because it's coming at a time where it's getting really cold, so a lot of people are moving anyway," said protester Joe McGuire. "I personally think it's important that we make it like we're going, but we're not going because you told us to."

The group has a meeting set for noon Saturday to decide what to do. Many believe the city just wants to kick them out in time for the Thanksgiving Day parade down Woodward.

City leaders have not said what will happen if protesters refuse to leave Monday, and the demonstrators don't seem to know exactly what they will do either.
