Unemployment rate is high in many parts of West Michigan
<snip> For the month of December, unemployment in Kent County hit 6.2 percent, which is up from 6.1 in November.

The unemployment rate in Allegan County jumped from 6.1 to 6.9 percent, and is at 8.2 percent in Muskegon, while the rate in Ottawa County went from 5.0 to 5.6 percent.

1. It is tough to find a good job in West Michigan...
I moved here in 1997 and I am on my fifth job....the four previous have all shut their doors. I am a woodworker by trade and very experienced in what I do.... yet I am starting over AGAIN>.... how am I to build for retirement. I can't. If it weren't for my Wife I would be in a world of shit.... pardon the expression...
