Democrats in Allegan County???

Who knew? I saw their float in the Dorr parade yesterday. It received a loud cheer from the group I was with. But the biggest surprise was that there was no DeVos representation anywhere in the parade.

1. Same in Luce county...

I walked with the G4G truck in the Curtis parade (in the UP). I was rumored that DeVos was going to be the Grand Marshall, but unfortunately, he never showed up, and the DeVos camp didn't have anyone walking in Curtis at all. The Luce County Dems and G4G had about 30 people combined and there were lots of applause from the crowd. We also had tons of State Rep candidates (all Dems) walking too. The Democrats had a huge showing this Sunday... I was very pleased. Any other yoopers out there?

Ha..........we even have official Allegan County Democrat bumper stickers proclaiming "Yes there really are Allegan County Democrats. We still have our booth at the Allegan County Fair every year too.:)

Thank you for the welcome Michigan Vote. I am on DU every chance I get. I do not usually post but I find very informative information here. As you can tell by my post I also live in Allegan County. Finally some of the Dems here are speaking out so maybe we have a chance to turn things around in this Republican area.

8. Yeah - a few Granholm supporters in Kentwood, but no DeVos campaign

Congressman Vern Ehlers was there, and I think so was David LaGrand (candidate for state Senate). Terri Lynn Land and Debbie Stabenow also had representation there.
