Darth Cheney in Troy on Monday -- if you can, show up to protest

Darth Cheney will be attending a $1,000-a-plate Republican fundraiser luncheon on Monday at the Troy Marriott, I beieve it starts at noon. Joe Knollenberg will be attending -- If anyone can get a photo of Darth and Joe together, it would be much appreciated by the Skinner campaign.

Also, if you are in that area and can get there on your lunch hour, or if you're not working tomorrow and can be there, it would be great if we could get a protest going. I know it's late notice, but let's see what we can pull together quickly. I, for one, will not be able to be there.

The Troy Marriott is located on Big Beaver at I-75.

From what I understand, Nancy will also be holding a press conference at the Marriott.

After the luncheon, Darth will be heading out to Selfridge for an appearance with the National Guard.

I'm sure you got it. Maybe you have some friends who can go with you. Unfortunately, I have to work. Hopefully some students or teachers who are off for the summer can go, as well as some retirees.
