I just came from the reception for Gov Granholm

Please, folks, those of you who are so worried. She spoke so well and really calmed a lot of fears. She said exactly what I've said here before -- "Just calm down." She knows what she's doing. She said people don't know who Dick DeVos is, but they will before she's through with him. She's coming out fighting -- she's just not quite ready yet. This is just beginning, everyone, so take it easy and give her a chance. She doesn't have $10 million of her own money to spend on commercials.

I was worried when I heard the thing on the news about the cost of adverts.

I was wondering if Granholm was ever going to start advertising and I have seen some on tv. I do hope that Granholm wins because I just have a funny feeling about DeVos and not just because he is a Republican.

2. I agree- she came across strong and positive.

It was clear that her campaign will take off soon, she was confident and sincere. This was my first time seeing her in person, and she presented herself very favorably. Ellen Malcolm, Emily's List founder, also had a stong, capable presence while giving her introduction to Gov. Granholm.
The reception was a great experience for me.
