Ferndale - Honk for Peace Court Case tomorrow (July 26)

Victor will be having his arraignment at the Ferndale Courthouse. Supporters are encouraged to attend.

For those unfamiliar with the story, Victor was walking to an ice cream shop after the weekly vigil in Ferndale, carrying a sign that said "Ferndale Cops Say: Don't Honk if You Want Bush Out." When police demanded the sign, he refused, and they threatened to use a stun gun on him.

If you are going to attend the arraignment, and plan to wear clothing with a slogan or political message, please be prepared, if required, to change into something sloganless.

From his email: This is just an arraignment. Nothing will be resolved at this point except my plea which will be Not Guilty. It will be over quickly once it comes before a judge. All that will happen will be the possible setting of a court date. It will be months away.

1. I was just going to post this...I'm glad you did.

I'm going to try to be there. Are you planning to go? I hope there will be many supporters. Victor is a nice guy, and a dedicated activist. He doesn't deserve this aggravation.
