Need advice on voting in Ann Arbor

Leigh Greden vs. Rebekah Warren

County Commissioner 10th District
Conan Smith vs. Scott Snuverink

Mayor
John Hiefje vs. Wendy Ann Woods (never had a problem with Heiftke, don't know anything about Woods)

Councilmember Ward 5
Sonia Schmerl vs. Chris Easthope vs. Richard J Ankil (Easthope was consistently unhelpful the few times I have dealt with him, but I don't know anything about the others)

What exactly is a precinct delegate and what do they do?

Note that many precincts have more than one delegate. (My precinct in Trenton is allocated seven delegates this time around -- only three people filed. It should be an easy election.)

2. My recommendations:

Greden, Heiftje, and Easthope. I don't know the other two.

I think Greden will be able to work more cooperatively in Lansing than Warren although both are good. Heiftje is doing a good job and should be given the opportunity to continue. To tell you the truth, I don't know why Wendy Woods is even running. I'm sorry you had problems with Easthope; that sounds very uncharacteristic of him. I know Chris personally and I know how hard he works for the city and for his constituents.

I too have no idea who the Precinct Delegates are, so I'll refrain from commenting on them.

I personally know Snuverink and Easthope, Greden and Hiefje have done well for the City so far, so I will throw my hat in for them as well.
