The Tigers have now lost 4 games straight since they inexplicably let schlockmiester Dick Devos into their TV booth and let him ramble aimlessly for half an inning about absolutly nothing. But to pull this stunt and bring a political hack into your TV booth while not even knowing one thing about the game is stupid and unforgivable. It's taking the game and degrading it into the sewer. Let me just point out before the Devos curse and when they cared about their product the Tigers were 76-36, since then they've been 0-4. Thank you Mr. Illitch, nice stunt.

After Dick DeVos’ recent visit to the broadcast booth at a Detroit Tigers baseball game, Michigan Democratic Party Chair Mark Brewer and every Tiger fan has noticed that the team has failed to win a game. The losing streak is at a season-high five games.

“Forget politics, something I rarely say, the Tigers need our help.” Brewer said. “We all know DeVos is wrong for Michigan, but who knew he would jinx the Tigers.”

“I call on all Tiger fans, regardless of political affiliation, to come to the aid of our team,” Brewer added. “Please either light a candle, wear your ballcap inside out, eat more big league chew or whatever your favorite way is to end a jinx to help our Tigers.”

DeVos also has a questionable allegiance to another Detroit sports team. DeVos has admitted that his favorite basketball team is the Orlando Magic and that he roots for them and against the Detroit Pistons every time they play. It is unknown if DeVos roots for the Tampa Bay Lighting and against the Detroit Red Wings, or for the Jacksonville Jaguars and against the Detroit Lions. It is also unknown whether or not DeVos was rooting for Team USA or the Chinese national team during their exhibition game in the Basketball World Championship.
