5. Thanks, Barb
I was way at the front <:)> so it was hard to tell the size of the crowd, but it looked pretty big, especially considering they pulled this together at the last minute and didn't give much notice about it. The paper this morning said there were 1,000 people, but you know how those estimates are.

2. Great photos, a couple of corrections regarding names:
Photos 13 and 20 include Daniel Mulhern, the spouse of Governor Granholm, not Mark Brewer http://www.michigan.gov/firstgentleman/

#23 is James Hoffa, versus Jimmy Hoffa.

Great job on the photos! They are the next best thing to being there!

I'll correct them. They actually introduced James Hoffa as Jimmy Hoffa, which surprised me (unless I misheard).

Did you see my question to you in another thread? I wanted to PM you, but you don't have enough posts yet for me to do that.

On edit:

All fixed now.

And, nevermind, I see you answered my question in the other thread.

9. Me, too, but I had a lot going on work-wise yesterday.
I would love to get my picture taken with Clinton, so I could use it for my X-Mas cards this year. I don't know what my 93 year old freeper Grandpa would do if he got that in the mail! He would love it if I got a picture of me standing next to someone he liked, like W or McCain.

10. My grandpa died in 1993, at age 98 and was a diehard
Repub. I remember when Reagan was president, I got him a birthday card that said, "someday when you are really, really old and really, really senile, you can run for President too!" My dad loved it, not so sure about Gramps.

12. SHARONRB I HAVE GREAT PHOTOS TOO!!!
I was at the rally in the reserved section and also at the fundrasier event at the Westin. Bil stopped and took a picture with me!!! I want to post it. Can I add it to your photo page. I have pics from backstage before he went on the podium. Alot with Clinton and Granholm, Debbie, John Conyers, and later at the event of all people, Jesse Jackson showed up, now that came out of nowhere!! Granholm annouced for Bill and Debbie to come on the stage and out pops Jesse waving and walking around the stage. It was soooooo funny, we were all cracking up. I felt so bad for Jen, how freakin embarrssing but funny at the same time, she goes "well, uh, obviously your're not Debbie" That man will do anything to get a photo op :)

13. I don't know that you can add photos to my album.
Edited on Wed Aug-16-06 08:58 PM by SharonRB
You could e-mail them to me, but I don't want to post my e-mail and you're a newbie, so I can't PM it to you. I'm not sure how you can get them to me so I can add them. Can't you set up an album on-line and then post a link to it? Or you can put photos into a Photobucket album and then post the URLs of the photos.

I really wanted to go to the fundraiser, but it was just too much money. I'm so glad I was at the rally, though, and that I was right up front. Do you know if Nancy Skinner got to talk to Bill at all at the fundraiser? I'm hoping so much that he can help her out in some way and that they got to speak.

Jesse showing up sounds like it was a riot.

Do I know you?

Oh, and welcome to DU!!!!
