1. They just don't get it, do they?

There is such a big difference, it amazes me that they cannot see it. Why can't they understand the conflict of interest in this particular case? No one is accusing her of anything. If I was running for office in my union, I would not volunteer, (nor would I be allowed to), to take part in the counting of the ballots. This is a special situation. You do not take part in counting your own votes. It just isn't acceptable.

2. I can't believe they're trying to get away with this.

It's like "Return of Katherine Harris". The GOP knows they will need agents in powerful positions to steal any elections in the future, so they need Johnson as Oakland Co. Clerk. They know that they don't have any chance in hell of winning the Governorship without Oakland County's "official" vote total naming DeVos as the victor. UNBELIEVABLE.

...oh wait, we're talking about the Republicans. It's entirely believable.
