Q. I am a big Howard Zinn fan! How can I help spread the word about his lecture in Detroit? A. Host a Howard Zinn House Party!
Want to help us spread the word about what may be Howard Zinn’s first-ever engagement in Michigan? Then host a Howard Zinn house party! Invite some friends over, provide some snacks and beverages, and get the video documentary of Howard Zinn’s life, You Can’t Be Neutral on a Moving Train which can be purchased or rented at your local video retailer, or online at various sources. The video is about an hour and a quarter and gives an excellent overview of Zinn’s life, his participation in history, and his firm belief that individual people can change society. To sign up to help, visit this opportunity at www.VolunteerMatch.org under “Cranbrook Peace Foundation” or by clicking here.
Youth Opportunity to Meet Howard Zinn and hear him for 1 cent!
