Looks like Devos hired Bouchard's ad people
Edited on Mon Oct-23-06 10:53 AM by Strawman
To try make him to appear like an actual human being with a cutesy daddy/daughter ad. Now we're supposed to vote for him because he's the second coming of Tom Bosley? Guess that qualifies Blinky to be our next governor.

And you gotta love Bouchard blaming Stabenow's "tax increases" in the Senate for the loss of nearly 300,000 jobs. Umm, haven't we been passing tax cuts for the rich over the past six years? Isn't Debbie Stabenow in the minority? Guess it's all those balanced budget proposals to roll back tax cuts for the rich, that never were enacted into law by the Republicans who control both branches of Congress and the Presidency that are to blame. Yep. That makes sense. :sarcasm:

How f***ing stupid do these Bouchard ad people think we are?

1. Exactly my thought the first time I saw the ad with his daughter
No imagination -- he hired Bouchard's ad agency and copied from him.

3. Not just Bouchard that he's copying from

Who does the imagery of the family touch football game (at the end of the ad) remind you of? Or more to the point, who is it designed to remind us of? Ideally, the late Lloyd Bensten should intercept that ball in that ad and taunt Dick that he's no John or Bobby Kennedy.

Talk about a lack of imagination!

And notice who has the ball in that shot. It ain't Dick. It's Betsy. A little slip that shows us all who the true quarterback in the Devos family really is. I almost feel sorry for the guy. One gets the feeling that he is being dragged into a political world where he is totally uncomfortable and unsuited for.

2. Melissa DeVos looks like half the girls I went to high school with
Blonde, blue-eyed dutch girls. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as so many people in Grand Rapids have blue eyes and blonde hair.

Bouchard is getting desperate, because he's down in the polls by a such a large margin.

4. I'd bet she has all of "Prussian Blue's" albums.
