I just moved here in early August. DeVos scared the crap out of me because I saw in him a clone of all of the Texas Republicans I remember from my years there who have made that state a living hell for working people. Of course, Betsey thinks that Michigan workers are overpaid and over-unionized. And her brother is a war profiteer. So I was glad to see DeVos lose and lose bad. Does this mean that we don't ever again have to worry about this spoiled brat and his brainless trophy wife sticking their mitts into Michigan politics again?

I doubt Dick will run for president any time soon, but he's not an old man yet. If the regular GOP (Brooks Patterson, David Gorcyca, etc.) take back the Michigan party, he and his wife are done running for any office. If the religious right from West Michigan and northern Macomb county hang on to control, they'll be back.

and it wasn't even close. She beat him by 18% I believe. I think it will be hard for Repubs to get into that guy again.

A can of Raid wouldn't kill the nasty little vermin. She'll DEFINITELY be back...maybe not in the form of her dolt of a husband, but she'll be spreading her trademark GOP hate and intolerance for a long time to come, both on a state and national level.

I loved it when she cried during the Dick's concession speech. I thought that any day Betsy DeVos cries is a glorious day for Michigan.
