Looks like they want a rematch -- UCLA beats USC 13-9.

Way to go, UCLA!!!

Now we just have to wait for the Florida/Arkansas game to be over and then the voting and number crunching by the computer tomorrow.

It's not over yet -- we may be getting another chance to beat OSU for the national championship after all.

OSU will mop the floor with them Gators, as if that helped. This whole BCS thing hasn't really solved the question as to "Who is the bist?" As with everything media driven in this country right now, it's all bullshit.

My Story:

I grew up surrounded by U of M music: you know, Jerry Bilick, Reveli, Cavender. I resented it. I had 2 brothers that graduated from State. My sis went there for one year. The marching band there recruited me big time, but the music school flat rejected me because the stupit percussion prof never had a blind mand as a student...duhhhhh. I ended up at 4 colleges to get a B.A.

My loyalties turned green, despite my anger, and this year has been just another heartbreak with my home boy Drew. Yet, I root for the teams here. This selection thing today just throws me off. All I can say is let's just relish what we have here. The Eyes run the state, the Dems got 2 houses down there in DC,. and we got the state house back. Football is just that...football.

And, although I'm not happy, I'm not devastated either. There are much more important things to get totally upset about. This just shows again, though, that we need some kind of a playoff system. Read Albom today.
