Now that the Good Food store in Canton is closed
can anyone recommend a place where I can buy organic food? Meijer has increased their organic line a bit, and once in awhile I get lucky at Kroger, but I really miss having Good Food! Looks like I'll have to drive in to Ann Arbor for groceries, won't I?:(

1. There's a 'Good Food' in Troy at 15 and Livernois, NW corner.

Canton closed because they lost their lease there.

3. Isn't there a Holiday Market in Canton?
I used to shop at the one in Royal Oak, and still go there for specific items. They are overpriced, but if you're shopping at Good Food, that probably isn't an issue for you.

Holiday Market has the best wine selection around, short of a wine specialty shop.

4. LOL, I never shopped there regularly!
Can't afford to. But it was a great place to find organic/cage free eggs and organic milk when Meijer or Kroger ran out. Plus they had other items that I just can't get elsewhere. I miss having them here.

I'll take a look at Holiday -- I never shop there because it's too expensive, but if they have an organic selection, I'll check it out.

Going to Troy is just not an option. Much easier to zip into Ann Arbor, if that's what the choice comes down to.

Thanks for replying, you guys! I appreciate it.
:hi:

5. Try Trader Joe's on Haggerty between 7 and 8 Mile Roads.
They have tons of organic food and a lot of other good stuff too. The prices are very reasonable. They do have a pretty good website that you could check out to see if it would be worth the trip. It is a terrific store!

6. I didn't know there was a Trader Joe's there!
Is it new? I'll have to check it out--the one in Ann Arbor is tiny.

7. It opened a year or so ago
and it is a very large store! We love having it so close to us. Check it out when you have time. It is on the East side of Haggerty about 1/4 mile South of Eight Mile Road. There are many good stores and restaurants right around it too! Happy shopping!!!!

8. There's a Hillers in Plymouth
On Haggerty near 5 Mile. Hillers has a lot of organic foods. It's a great store in general; their meat and produce is superb and they have a HUGE ethnic foods section.
