My mom always said don't take snowmobiles on ice covered lakes, although her concern was that the ice would break up under us, not that another snowmobile would crash into us.

Still, 28 is too young to die.

4. They have got to put restrictions on snowmobiling

No helmets, no restrictions on how fast people could go (at night!) - I went up North a couple of years ago. It was snowing, and there was so much traffic pulling snowmobiles at 70 mph plus, even though the lanes weren't even clear. It was madness.
