Apparently DFL Rep. Jim Oberstar signed John Conyers' letter to Bush demanding answers from Bush about the Downing Street Memo.

Why aren't Sabo and McCollum on the list?

You know, sometimes she's just a little too hawkish for my taste.

But I saw Pres. Clinton on Letterman on Thursday basically hawking the "pottery barn" rationale as well.

We've got to do a better job of destroying that false choice - we are there so we have to stay until we "fix" the mess we made. If China invaded northern Minnesota and ruptured the electrical supply and was killing people seemingly at random, and had leveled Ely because it was a "hotbed" of nationalism, we wouldn't just shrug our shoulders and say, "Oh well, they'd better stay until they fix the mess they made."
