Suggestions for the Warehouse District?
Anyone have any suggestions for a meeting place that includes live music and appropriate atmosphere for a work dinner?
We're thinking the Warehouse District or another downtown Mpls. locale.

1. If someone else is buying
I'd go for Cosmo's in Le Meridien. I also love Solera's. Seem to recall they both have background music. Places with live music don't start playing until 9, but there is the Dakota, if you like jazz. About a block over from Le Meridien is a New Orleans restaurant but I cannot remember its name. They had a piano player when I ate there. There are really lots of good choices.

2. First Ave!!!
Oh wait never mind I am just being a smart ass! ;-)

I don't know if you can find a whole lot in the Warehouse area. I know the Urban Wildlife had live music, but they shut down that half to put in a topless bar. Like we need more of them in the area. Warehouse is fun to go party, but I think it will be hard to find a work dinner place.

Well a little walk but try Brits Pub. Or The Local over by Peavey Plaza. The might have music. I cant think of anything near Target Center at all.

4. The Fine Line
I haven't eaten there in years, but IIRC they've got a decent menu, and IMHO one of the best rooms for live music in the TC bar none.

:D

Pizza Luce!!!!!!

Hey, Twin Cities!!! We found a new pizza place this evening, 58th and Chicago, called Biga Pizza. A little place attached to a bread shop, and they do thin crust wood-fired pies!!! VERY good!!!
