Matt Entenza is running for Attorney General?

I just found that in my emails. Does this mean we won't have an AG who keeps his eye on the HMOs?

1. Matt Pretenza is a lying multimillionaire

When he took over as House DFL Minority Leader in 2002 he sacked a lot of long-time DFL staffers (most of them older) and replaced them with young campaign workers and other hacks. He told the staffers that mean Mr. Sviggum made him reduce staff and that their jobs were being eliminated--and then promptly posted those same jobs three days later. Age discrimination complaints followed but after more lying by Pretenza, they were dismissed.

Pretenza and the weasels he surrounds himself with (most of House DFL leadership) represent everything that's wrong with the DFL today. They should all be shown the door.

2. I doubt it.

Many people seem to think he might run for AG, but I believe he is much more focused on becoming Speaker of the House.

First, Hatch will need to make a decision about the governor's race, and then we may see candidates come out. I still think Klobuchar would be an excellent AG candidate, but she clearly has set her sights higher.
