It made one point forcefully and quickly, and did not get bogged down in so many of the peripheral issues that it would be so easy to get bogged down in because they are so important too.

Therefore one can easily and quickly read it, and I believe that many will.

they report inaccurately. The only way to get the truth out is to hammer at those who are too lazy to look for it and just go for the talking point.

It was a NY Times/AP article and I did point that out in the letter but they edited it out.
They also edited out my last line:

"It seems that fact-checking is a dying art in the media these days."

Otherwise, everything else is there.

6. They shouldn't be reprinting Drudge's lies

no matter the origin of the story.
