Resolution of Inquiry into Bush Lies Gains Momentum

There are now 58 co-sponsors on Barbara Lee's Resolution of Inquiry into the Downing Street Memos, including one Republican member of the International Relations Committee, Jim Leach. Here is what I sent:

Mr. Kennedy, I was recently told about H.Res.375 introduced by Barbra Lee, and has around 58 co-sponsors as of 8/30/5.

The bill involves looking into what information was known before the invasion of Iraq. The Downing Street Memo, although could be a fluke deserves to have a critical eye. I honestly feel a look at it will either bring up problems "that could be prevented in the future" or simply put it to rest. By not looking into it, I feel it raises questions with the American people. Similar to not wanting to look into voting reform, something I have written to you about before.

All I suggest is more transparency. From Downing Street, Able Danger, Valerie Plume / Joe Wilson / Rovegate fiasco, and the list goes on. Please be a leader, break party chains and shine light on these topics.
