OMG I got a call from Normie Coleman's office
I didn't get home until nearly 8 tonight and there was a message on my machine from someone in his Washington office. He understands that I'm "concerned" about some of the votes Normie has cast and would like to speak to me to see if he can help me understand Normie's positions.

Which positions would that be, I wonder, the one where his lips are attached to Bush's butt or the one where's he's bending over in front of Bush?

I also wonder what brought this on. I've sent the weasel many emails and believe me, my last couple were especially snide. I think the last one was the one where I quoted heavily from the email Katinmin received from him (where he said he doesn't agree the Bush has misled the American people).

So, is this a sign that Norm is getting a lot of negative mail and is starting to sweat 2008? Is he trying to "reach out" to Minnesotans? Is it a coincidence that the call came after DeLay was indicted (according to the timestamp)?

Hopefully, I'll get hold of the guy tomorrow so stay tuned for the next installment of "As the Weasel Squirms".

6. Please, tell him you back him 1000%. Tell him that he needs
to stand by Dubya and back him in everything he does. Tell him he needs to announce his public support of DeLay and Frist because otherwise, the lefties and "other Commies" will win. And please, try to do this without laughing.

The more we can convince Norm that standing behind Dubya is the right thing to do, the easier it will be to convince Minnesotans to give him the heave-ho in the next election. Not that I don't think my fellow Minnesotans haven't come to their senses about this fraud and will vote him out anyway. No, it's just more fun if this bastard continues in his role as Bushboy. He's trying to have it both ways because he knows the ship he latched on to is going down. Guess what Normie. We're not having any of it.

But please, toy with him and tell him to stand by Dubya. Tell him he needs to batten down the hatches and stay the course. It's too good an opportunity to pass up. It will make for such great fodder in the next election. Hah! Like we need any more. Hell, this is normie we're talking about. But I say screw with him anyway, just for the hell of it. The bastard deserves it.

7. I have been writing an email a day to Norm this week
Monday Roberts inexperience and lack of candor makes him unfit for CJSCOTUS. Tuesday Browns lies under oath to Congress and today the GOP leadership legal and ethical quagmire with links to documents.

In all of them I ended telling him he needed to be representing the people of Minnesota not the Bush Administration and told him also that the Bush Administration was in a lot of legal trouble and he might want to think about his future. Not that I care but I hoped he might.

He hasn't called me yet bet then I am at the end of the alphabet and perhaps they have a list. Good to hear. I will be prepared to keep them busy so they cannot call anyone else who can be confounded.

11. Good work!
Sometimes it feels like screaming into the wind, but we can't give him a pass.

Nope. We need to remind him every day that he is not representing Minnesotans and that he is towing the line for a liar.

13. I left the aide a message but I've been working from home today
and the computer been's tying up my phone line so I haven't heard back yet.

I doubt if Normie's looking for a date - although I'm several years younger than him, he'd probably consider me too old for him.

16. Thursday update
nothing to report. I did leave a message for the aide who called but, as I said above, I was working from home and did keep the phone pretty tied up all day.

I'll try him again tomorrow, but then I'll have to speak to him from my cube so I'll have to behave myself. My niece thought I should practice what I want to say so maybe by the end of the call, I'll have persuaded the aide to quit his job and leave the dark side.
