1. Didnt he move to Mexico?
Edited on Wed Jul-09-08 10:23 AM by jasonc
I wish he would go away, for good.

But this is what we get with our system I guess.

edit: I just saw this on the Stribs website:

Ventura denies reports he's running for Senate

<snip>

WASHINGTON — Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is shooting down media reports that he's decided to run for Senate.

National Public Radio today reported that Ventura says he's running for the seat, quoting him as saying "I run" because of Senator Norm Coleman's support for the Iraq war. But Ventura tells the Associated Press he had been speaking hypothetically.

edit 2: MPR has the same thing now too:

2. Now he says he's not:

But, he also said he's not going to make up his mind for sure until the filing deadline next week. As usual, he's going for as much publicity as he can.

3. Who Cares
No one takes him seriously anymore. He may get 15 to 20 percent of the whackjob libertarian vote but thats it.

6. He'll take More Votes From Coleman
He'll take more votes from Coleman than Franken. I wouldn't be worried about him stealing to many votes from Al. Your fringe Libertarian's don't usually vote progressive and I honestly don't know who else would vote for him.

The best birthday present I would get Tuesday is for this idiot to go back to Mexico for good. He needs to decide by the 15th if he is going to run.

7. I think it would be the opposite
Republicans usually chicken out at the last minute and vote party line. In past elections the DFLers who are prone to be in the middle and vote differently usually stick to their plan and vote independent.

10. Of Course He Will
Because this ahole is to important to deal with the Minnesota media. I wish he'd just go back to Mexico or wherever it is that he lives. Does anyone know why he is running. When he ran for Mayor it was because he couldn't get a variance for his house and when he ran for Governor it was that he paid to much for hos plates for his Porsche and how much he could use his personal watercraft. Whats his angle this time?

11. He has a new book out
Hopefully, he's just doing this to boost its sales and he won't actually announce he's running.

12. I was at the MOA
the day his book came out and there were about 100 people in the Rotunda when he got there. It was actually pathetic. You could be right. We know that in the end the only thing Jim Janos really cares about is himself. Never forget that Jesse is a only a role he played and hopefully the curtain can come down on that role.

13. Ventura
He will Insure Coleman keeps Paul Wellstone's seat.RAS has a new poll with Al now with a 2 point lead over Coleman which Is a change since before COleman was with a 2 point lead.Still a dead heat
but still progress.Ventura puts Colman ahead by several points. Many on the left are hoping that Al
throws Coleman out of the seat.Ventura could ruin that chance.

16. ONCE WAS ENOUGH FOR JESSE
He had his reign once, and I highly doubt he would get in even if he does decide to run. But, yes, we'll see on "Larry" tonight, lol.

on Larry King live last night.
