Is Nick Coleman no longer with the strib? |
|
A few weeks ago they heralded the arrival - or promotion - of two new columnists. Earlier they get rid of that rabid Kersten - or whatever her name is - and I wonder whether they decide to silence the voice from the left, for "balance."

1. I've been wondering what became of him as well |
|
the last I heard, he had too much senority for them to force him to take their buy out.
I keep telling myself I should cancel my subscription but I've never lived in a house without a daily paper. As bad as this one has gotten I just can't imagine not having a newspaper - reading it on the web just isn't the same.
How is it so many European cities manage to have severals dailies and in the U.S. a city is lucky if it has one?

2. Same here. Getting up in the morning to a fresh pot of coffee |
|
and the newspaper.
And, yes, I feel responsible to do my part in keeping newspapers and magazines alive. Until they will die.

4. Now who will the wingnuts have to take out their frustrations on? |

I swear, he had the most faithful gang of anti-fans I've ever seen.
Even when he wrote something non-political, they'd try to find a political motive.

5. Thanks. I wonder when, or wheather, the strib will let the readers know |
|
Of course, I don't remember them telling about Kersten - or whatever her name was - unless she said good bye in her last columns which I've never read.
