I thought Charlie Underwood was the better candidate but it is hard to beat the DFL party machine.
The had Sandy's hospitality room almost next to the Auditorium. Whereas, Charlie's was down at the end of one hallway and down aways.
They chair didn't even follow the rules or the agenda and seemed to do their own thing.
It was very disappointing and the same ol' same ol' in Ward 12.

1. I understand your frustration somewhat but |

it's who shows up that determines who wins. SCR had the most delegates and won. If there had been a lot of outrage against her she would not have.
It would not have been that hard to beat the "DFL party machine" in this case. Underwood obviously did not get enough people out on caucus night. Ward 12 has 442 Ward delegates that could have been elected on caucus night. 190 voted on Saturday. He got 70 of those. Most precincts did not fill their numbers so any Underwood people showing up on caucus night would have been elected.
I do hope he continues the race though, I hate these races ending in March.
