July 4 'Tea Party' Rallies in MN

This is funny, out of boredom, I checked the locations for the second round of "Tea Party" rallies in MN. What I found is the astroturf showing through just by looking at the addresses of the few events. Besides a few rural psedu-Birchers, the Minneapolis rally is at the posh Edina Country Club, and the Winona one is in a really posh neighborhood high on the bluff on the northwest side of town.

We only have 13 locations statewide, so except for a few house-party BBQs, nobody is going to do anything on Saturday.

1. With the 4th falling smack on a weekend this year...

even the crankiest Minnesota right-wingnuts will be "Up Nort" or doing SOMETHING else rather than attend a silly rally. It is tough to get us Minnesotans (of any political stripe) to do something that takes away from our glorious but short summers.
