Support The Uptake--and fuck Twin Cities Public Television

Twin Cities Public Television's Mary LaHammer is objecting to The Uptake horning in on her precious Capitol Press Whores space. She, along with some asshole from the Rochester Post-Bulletin (and probably others)--are objecting to the capitol leasing space in the Press Room to The Uptake, evidently fearing it might somehow sully their reputations as fine, unbiased guardians of the Fourth Estate.

The Uptake, as many of you recall, did some great ballot-by-ballot coverage of the Franken-Coleman recount. Their brand of citizen journalism is a breath of fresh air among the local capitol press whore gasbags like LaHammer.

1. Who watches TPT?

Frankly, I think TPT news is so empty of real content that I do not even bother watching it. Why would someone watch Almanac these days? It is flavored with corn syrup and pablum that I wonder why it is aired. LOL
